Meet Chufan
A thousand years ago, my father’s father’s father’s ... father’s father Huang Tingjian was the most renowned artist and calligrapher in China. Both of my parents are fine artists, and my earliest memories involve seeing them work on oil paintings in their studio, flipping through art books, and being encouraged to paint as much as possible. Drawing everything I saw in my life during childhood made me a keen observer. Growing up, I realized that I desired to use my creativity in different ways—to create designs that are not only beautiful but also thoughtful and make positive changes in people’s lives.
As a designer, my superpower is crafting engaging experiences across disciplines and methods, such as user research, interaction design, visual design, and product strategy. I enjoy embracing new challenges and working with people from different backgrounds, as I always learn to see things from new perspectives and increase my knowledge base that helps me to become a better designer.
I am Chufan Huang, most recently building enterprise SaaS products at Ingram Micro. When I’m not designing, you can find me making pottery, cooking, taking pictures with my film camera, or playing with my dog Puff. Feel free to reach out to me!
